Spiral Beaded Bracelet from D&I Beads

Spiral Bracelet
D&I Beads
Supply List:
•	Supplemax or Nymo size B or D thread
•	Two colors of 6/0 seed beads
•	Two 2” or 3” headpins
•	Two beadcaps or cones
•	Single strand clasp (ie: toggle, magnetic clasp)

Steps:
1.	Cut a yard of thread. Do not knot the end.
2.	Thread on 4 inner beads and 3 outer beads.
3.	Starting from the tail end of the thread, go through the first 4 inner beads and pull tight to make a circle. Be sure to leave at least 4 inches of a tail at the end.
4.	String on 1 inner bead and 3 outer beads.
5.	Go back through your newest 4 inner beads, working away from the tail end.
6.	Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you get the length you need for your bracelet.
7.	If you need to add on thread…
a.	Cut another thread, at least 1 yard long.
b.	Attach by tying a square knot as close as you can to the bracelet.
c.	Once attached, tie one more knot for security.
d.	Cut your extra pieces and continue step 6.
8. To tie off the ends of the bracelet, go through the last two inner beads on the end of your bracelet, but do not pull tight. Instead, take your thread through the loop you just made twice for a surgeon’s knot. Repeat this step for another loop.
9. Repeat step 8 for the other side of your bracelet.

To add the clasp:
1.	Put your headpin through the last two core beads, keeping the head on the inside of the bracelet.
2.	String on your beadcap and one seed bead, then wire wrap your clasp on the headpin above the seed bead.
3.	Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other side, and you are done!

Right Angle Beaded Bracelet
D&I Beads

Supplies You will need…
•	size B or D Nymo thread, or Supplemax
•	One strand of 6 mm beads ( approx. 50 beads )
•	One strand of approx. 6mm tear drops or accent beads
•	Two hard beading needles – size 10 or smaller
•	A clasp (can be one or two strands)
•	Size 11/0 seed beads

Getting started:

1.	Cut two strands of 2-3yards.
2.	Tie each strand to one side of your clasp.
3.	Add three seed beads to each strand.
4.	Add 1 6mm seed bead to one strand. Then, with your other strand, go the opposite way through your 6mm bead. (should form a circle, not a tear drop shape)
5.	Add 1 seed bead, 1 6mm bead, and 1 seed bead to each thread.
6.	Add 1 6mm bead to one thread, and take your other thread through the bead the opposite way. (as in step 4)
7.	Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the length of your bracelet. Tie off to other side of clasp.
8.	Pull thread back through 3 seed beads working down the length of your bracelet, and add 1 seed bead.
9.	Go straight through the next seed bead and the 6mm bead.
10.	From this point on, add 3 seed beads, and only go through the next 6mm bead. Do the same on each side. Tie off only one strand at the clasp.

To add the top…

11.	With the other thread, weave back down through 3 seed beads and pull through the middle 6mm bead.
12.	Add 2 seed beads, a teardrop (or bicone), and 2 seed beads.
13.	Take through the next middle 6mm bead. The top row should lay diagonally on top of your base.
14.	Repeat steps 12 and 13 till the end. Tie off at clasp.
